these are great. i love the last three as a set. and the very last one is my favorite. Its a very cute moment to capture. I like that you took pictures of unlikely parts of the animals. It makes it interesting. And the depth of field on the one with of the sheep up close is great. the way you took the photo and the depth of field you used directs the viewers attention to the eye.
these are beautiful. the lighting is wonderful. i'd have to say the last one is my favorite because it seems like theres really something going on. I'm not sure what's going on, but i feel like the animals are trying to get in. also, the texture on the sheep is great. oh, another of my favorites is the close up of nose but only the eye is in focus. that's a great use of shallow depth of field. good work.
Jess...beautiful images; which like I said in class (with the pancake comment) make me feel like I'm on a farm, enjoying a morning of warm Sun, breakfast with the family, and joyful times. That is a great example of successful photography...when the viewer will look at the image and instantly be transformed to a personal experience that gives them hope, joy, healing...
My criticism would be in the first image the fuzziness in the bottom is hard to distinguish so it looks like a mistake. Whatever it is should be more "readable" in the image or taken out so as not to distract.
The last image is wonderfully framed with the fence it's got lots of fun things going on both the the lamb in the foreground an as well as the lamb in the background.
I love that the photos give us as the viewers a piece of what matters to you...that we can learn about the things you love by the images you present. Looking forward to more.
God made the world to be beautiful and enjoyed. I love looking around and seeing things and thinking "You know, nobody else may ever see this the way I see it. Maybe God made it just for me." I would like to be able to share that beauty and that feeling with you.
